RENY Micro Countersunk Flat Head Screws - DIN 965 conform to the following Standards/Norms:

DIN 965

RENY Micro countersunk (also known as Flat Head) screws are available in ‘micro’ sizes ranging from M1.2 to M1.6 and lengths 2.5mm to 4mm.

Micro countersunk screws are manufactured with a standard Phillips cross head drive type this allows for more than adequate torque for the fastener specification.

The standard head angle for all our countersunk screws is 90 Degrees.

Our countersunk screws are commonly used within the electronics sector due to being available in very small sizes.

Certificate of conformity available on request.

RENY Micro Countersunk Screws are a type of fastener made from RENY material, a high-performance engineering thermoplastic. The countersunk design of these screws allows them to be flush-mounted with the surface of the material they are fastened to, providing a clean and streamlined appearance.

One of the key advantages of RENY Micro Countersunk Screws is their high mechanical strength and stiffness. RENY is known for its excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength and stiffness, which make it ideal for use in high-load applications such as the automotive and aerospace industries.

In addition to their mechanical properties, RENY Micro Countersunk Screws also offer excellent chemical resistance. They can withstand exposure to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases, and solvents, making them ideal for use in harsh chemical environments such as chemical processing plants and laboratory equipment.

Another important advantage of RENY Micro Countersunk Screws is their low-profile design. The countersunk head allows them to be flush-mounted with the surface of the material they are fastened to, providing a clean and streamlined appearance. This makes them ideal for use in applications where aesthetics are important, such as in the manufacturing of consumer electronics or high-end machinery.

RENY Micro Countersunk Screws are available in a range of sizes and thread types to suit a variety of applications. They are commonly used in the automotive and aerospace industries, as well as in the manufacturing of electronic devices, medical equipment, and laboratory instruments.

In conclusion, RENY Micro Countersunk Screws offer several advantages over traditional fastener designs in terms of mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and low-profile design. Their unique countersunk head design and RENY material make them ideal for use in high-load and harsh chemical environments, as well as in applications where aesthetics are important.

RENY Key Properties

  • High Tensile Strength – RENY is among the highest performing polymer screws in terms of tensile strength on the market today (285Mpa).

Low cost - In comparison to other engineered polymer, such as PPS, PI and PEEK.

Low water absorption – especially when compared to Nylon 6/6, this allows dimensional stability and mechanical strength to remain high even under high water absorption environments.

Excellent weight to strength ratio - Specific gravity (1.65).

  • - Non-Magnetic

    - Low thermal conductivity

    - Non-Corrosive

    - High heat operation (105°C)

    - Ultra low weight

  • - Flame resistance (UL94 HB)

    - Hydrolysis resistance
