Temperature Stability: Zirconia retains mechanical strength better than many engineering materials at elevated temperatures, with a maximum service temperature of up to 1200ºC in highly controlled or inert atmospheres.

Chemical Resistance: This material has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, saltwater, and oxidation.

Dimensional Stability: Ceramic Zirconia is able to have minimal creep at moderate temperatures, excellent shape retention, low deformation under load, and stable precision tolerances.

Acoustic Properties: The high stiffness gives good vibration transmission for acoustic applications and is used in specialist audio and instrumentation applications.

Optical Properties: Zirconia can be partially translucent in specialized grades and has high refractive index properties.

Oxidation & Environmental Stability: Zirconia has oxidation and environmental stability as it is highly resistant to oxidation, moisture, steam, and most corrosive atmospheres.
